Posted in Boys Varsity Basketball by Sean Kelly | Comment

The Wolfpack (1-3) trailed by six at the end of the first half (37-31), but were unable to gain an edge in the final 16 minutes as they succumbed to Putnam Science Academy 77-60. Hyde was lead by the all-around play of Mike Cannon ’11 (12 points, 5-10FG, 6 rebounds) and Ryan Giebel ’10 (10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists). Despite only turning the ball over 7 times during the 32 minute outing and assisting on 13 field goals, the Wolfpack struggled offensively shooting just 38% from the field.

Hyde returns to action Thursday as they visit a strong St. Andrews team in Barrington, Rhode Island. Game time is 5 pm.
