The Boys JV Basketball team came out on Saturday with a limited number of players but looking for a win against the Providence Country Day Knights. A total of seven played in the game, and each player put out his best effort. The Wolfpack came out with a slow start and at the end of the half were down 18-34. In the second half the team showed their will to fight and came out outplaying and outscoring the Knights. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough and the Wolfpack team ended up losing 50-58. Noah Bell ’11 came up big in the game with 12 points and was able to dish the ball out inside for easy assists. Derek Kubitz ’10 started off slow but was able to come back in the second half and ended up with 17 points and 18 rebounds. Nathan Chesley ’11 finished the game with 10 points, and knocked down a big 3 in the second half. Scott McNeil ’11 was big in the 1st half and ended up with a double double, 10 points, and 11 rebounds.
