Hyde–38
STM–46
The Boys JV Basketball team came out on friday against Saint Thomas More, a team that was a pretty even match up. The Wolfpack came out looking strong, but were overtaken with the first half coming to an end when STM went on a run to end the half leading by twelve, 27-15. In the second half the Wolfpack showed its determination not to quit and went on a huge run, coming within two points with two minutes left in the game, thanks to a clutch three pointer made by Sean Kadagian. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough and the Wolfpack lost by eight points, 38-46.
Derek Kubitz ’11 came out big and showed his athletic ability with a team high of 13 points and 9 rebounds. Sean Kadagian ’11 had 12 points and proved to be a factor with crucial clutch shots. Unfortunately Brian Sanz ’11 fouled out at the beginning of the second half, and Wolfpack Boys JV Basketball could not capitalize on its second-half surge.
