Wolfpack 42,  Portsmouth 29

Another Win for Confident JV Wolfpack

Posted in Boys JV Basketball by Derek Kubitz | Comment

It was a good day for the Boys JV Basketball team on Saturday. Portsmouth Abbey came out looking big, but were shut down by a very good defensive effort by the Wolfpack. The first half of the basketball game saw a confident Wolfpack outscoring PSA 25-7. The boys put the cruise control on in the second half and ended up winning 42-29. Although this game’s roster had 16 players on it, everyone was able to get some playing time and contribute to the win.

Matt Mongada ’10 scored and got the crowd up on their feet going berserk. Brian Sanz ’11 had a game high of 9 points, including the first 7 points of the game. Kyle Freitag 11 showed hustle throughout the game. The Boys JV team travels to New London to take on Williams this Wednesday at 3:30.
