Hyde-Woodstock - 41
Marianapolis - 68
Hyde took on their neighbors from Thompson Saturday in a league game. Hyde started off the game better than it had in the three previous games. The offense was clicking and the defense fairly effective. Margaret Ann ‘10 had 8 of her 10 points in the first half. The team went into halftime behind by eight points. Unfortunately, their size and dominance on the boards took a toll and Hyde was not effective in boxing out and interior defense. Certainly the scoring was more distributed and that is a positive sign. Sabrina Padro ‘10 had 14 points which included two three-pointers. Margaret Ann Regnery ‘10 ended the game with 10 points. Lexi Burke ‘10 had 6 points. Sarah DeNunzio ‘11 had four points including a thre-pointer. Allie Dubinsky ‘10 is back on the scoreboard with 2 points. Haruka Koda ‘10 and Mari Barnett ‘11 each chipped in 2 points. Courtney Gill ‘10 had her first point of the season. The team looks forward to another league match-up with PCD on Monday.
